DTD1, 1-209aa, Human, His tag, E.coli

Categories: [Proteins / Peptides]
DTD1 hydrolyzes D-tyrosyl-tRNA(Tyr) into D-tyrosine and free tRNA(Tyr). It could be a defense mechanism against a harmful effect of D-tyrosine. DTD1 may be a risk factor for aspirin-intolerant asthma (AIA) by catalyzing the hydrolysis of D-tryptophan and interacting with the tyrosyl-tRNA synthetase (tyrRS) enzyme, which promotes a pro-inflammatory phenotype.
