DHPS, 1-369aa, Human, His tag, E.coli

Categories: [Proteins / Peptides]
DHPS, which belongs to the deoxyhypusine synthase family of proteins, is important for the first step in the hypusine biosynthesis pathway. This protein catalyzes the NAD-dependent transfer of the butylamine moiety of spermidine to the epsilon-amino group of a specific lysine residue of the EIF5A precursor protein to form the intermediate deoxyhypusine residue.
