Categories: [Proteins / Peptides]
BAI1-associated protein 2, also known as BAIAP2, is a ubiquitous regulator of the actin cytoskeleton. It mediates filopodia formation under the control of Rho-family GTPases. BAIAP2 is expressed in the cytoplasm and links small membrane-bound G-proteins to cytoplasmic effector proteins.
